我的初恋发生在高二那年，中学同学都知晓。那时（现在也是）我都很注重学业，我一直想当个positive catalyst，支持鼓励他读好书考好成绩。我不要当那种谈恋爱就荒废学业的学生。可惜，我想我反倒成为他的negative catalyst/inhibitor了。所以，短短4个多月就无疾而终，拖拖拉拉一年多后才没有联络。

最近，有位朋友说我干（Dry）了很多年一下，想想也是。这几年不是没有欣赏的人，不是没有令我动心的人，不是没有人对我表示好感，缘分也要靠天时地利人和啊~ 谈恋爱我还是要双方有mutual benefits，是彼此的positive catalyst。我们要一起努力，一起进步，一起迈向理想和未来。

Catalyst increases the rate of chemical reaction by lowers the activation energy. Thus more colliding particles can overcome the energy barrier and more successful collisions occur. 


Y是我college的朋友，她长得漂亮身材苗条，是个勤劳又随和的女生。可惜，因为A-level成绩差强人意，无法和我们一起上大学。结果，她辗转进了Monash University。和我们一样命运，班上同学都小她一两岁，但她从来不乏追求者。开学一个多月后，她竟然和一位当时19岁（小她两岁）的男生在一起。大伙儿吓了一大跳！

刚开始接触那位男生，觉得他思想行为等都很幼稚。见了几次，直到那天去Sunway Monash时才跟他深聊一点。发现，他变成熟了，脸上的稚气也不见了。不细说他做了什么事让我们这群“姐姐”改观，反正就我有一个传统的女生朋友甚至愿意接受姐弟恋了。哇哇哇~

只要能冲破各种顾虑，解开心理矛盾，我也会奋不顾身，勇敢去爱。

All-or-Nothing

At resting state, the membrane potential is -70mV. Sodium ions start to flow into the neuron, gradually increase the membrane potential. The generation of action potential follows all-or-nothing theory. If the membrane potential reaches the threshold level, which is -55mV, more sodium ion channels are opened, allowing greater inflow of sodium ions. The membrane potential will shoot up to +40mV and thus action potential is generated. 


弟弟的女朋友今天回家前差点被Hero咬到！弟弟为了让他和我凶神恶煞的Hero（我家的狗）亲近，以后她来时才不会吠她，让她去摸摸它的头。幸亏没有被咬到，但她肯定是吓坏了。我冲出去看噪音来源，看到我弟弟抱着他女朋友（在家门口），然后安抚她说“不要怕，不要怕。”弟弟又带她去厨房洗手，再一次抱她安慰她。

弟弟很少在家show PDA的，可能是家里比较保守，或弟弟不想刺激我（哈哈哈）。可是，当我看到弟弟抱她时，我不是嫉妒或讨厌她（抢走了我的弟弟），只是在想...我也想要被抱，与我未来对的人拥抱。

For a chemical reaction to occur, the colliding particles (reactants) must

• possess minimum kinetic energy (Activation energy)
• collide at correct orientation
• even after the activated complex is formed, it is just an intermediate. It might be converted to the desired product, or in contrast, decomposes back to the reactants.
